Y5 Tatton Park Trip

Year 5 travelled to Tatton Park as part of our History and Geography topic. There we discovered what life was like in Britain during Anglo-Saxon and Viking times. We took part in hands-on activities, learning about how the Anglo-Saxons made bread and even grinding our own wheat to make flour. We also discovered what it took to become a Viking warrior and what weapons they used. We had a fantastic day and learnt lots of new information during our time there.
