Our provision for children experiencing learning difficulties or who have a physical disability is based on the Special Educational Needs Code of Practice.

Those children are given as much support as possible through Quality First Teaching, their progress is regularly monitored by the class teacher and Sendco and also by our SLT Team.

Special Needs School Co-ordinator

Anne-Marie Ferrigan is our school co-ordinator for Special Needs. Mrs Ferrigan is a highly skilled professional with extensive expertise in special needs. She has been a teacher for 13 years and a SENDco for 3 years. She is a senior leader with experience of leading in attendance, behaviour and inclusion and has a history of working in SEND Schools. In addition, she has taught throughout the primary phase, from Year 1 through to Year 6.

You can make an appointment to speak to Mrs Ferrigan through the school office if you have concerns regarding your child.
